Dwight started his musical career at the age of 10 when he picked up the guitar that was given to him and taught himself how to play it.
He started listening to guitarist such as George Benson, BB King, Eddie Vanhalen, Prince and a few others. With all the different diverse sounds, he formed his own sound.
Playing all styles of music, Dwight began to play in various types of local bands. As his career progressed, he had the opportunity to perform with Shanice Wilson, Kanye West, Color Me Bad and many others.
Later in his career, he played on tracks for K Michelle, Ray J, Monica and several others.
Dwight’s song MONEY was featured on a major motion film released in theaters Nov 21st 2021. The film was titled, “For the Love Of Money.” The MONEY track was featured in the movie and as the credits were given at the end of the movie.
You can hear all the various styles that Dwight has in the song. The movie grossed nearly a half million dollars the first week.
Featured in the movie is actor and comedian Katt Williams, actress Lisa Ray, actress Keri Wilson, and singer Keith Sweat. Dwight has made a step in the right direction with his sound and writing abilities.
He continues to write and produce good music for his listeners. Dwight has put his hometown of Oklahoma City on the map along with several country and hiphop artists.
